There’s so much shorthand, history, and local context baked into everyday life that you really only pick it up by being here. Like getting excited about 1,000 sf, treating a flat lot like a luxury amenity, or realizing remodeled doesn’t always mean better. But you could be 20x happier in San Francisco 😉 I know Southern California has its charms, I’m just not sure any of them are worth giving up foggy summer mornings, Golden Gate sunset, mellow weather when the rest of the country is melting & the fact that you can go from city streets to the beach to the redwoods without leaving the Bay Area. Plus, I’ll take a neighborhood with personality over sitting in traffic on the 405 any day. San Francisco isn’t perfect. But that’s kind of the point.
