Where to Trick or Treat in San Francisco
Looking for top-notch places to Trick or Treat in San Francisco? One of the best parts of Halloween in San Francisco is finding the neighborhoods where kids (and, let’s be honest, parents) can score the best candy in town. Many stately homes in our 7×7 radius get decked out for the holiday in festive decorations, with plenty of treats to dole out. Here are some of my favorite spots to hit for Halloween.
NOPA Halloween Extravaganza!
The households of NOPA and neighborhood association come together to put on a great block party complete with Halloween events, costume contest, parade, haunted houses and LOTS of trick or treating! Head to Grove Street between Central & Baker from 6-8 PM on October 31st to enjoy!
Lake Street in the Richmond District
One of my personal favorite’s, The street fills up with kids and parents, all admiring the elaborate decorations throughout the neighborhood. Being a slow street, this is a great spot for a fun, super family-friendly celebration.
Noe Valley
Head to Fair Oaks Street between Noe Valley and Mission. The roads close to through traffic and most of the homes will be ready to hand out candy to all the dressed up kiddos. It’s also a great spot to grab dinner before or after your walking.
There are so many great neighborhoods around San Francisco & each will have their own, unique trick-or-treating opportunity, some better than others. If you’re looking for full-size candy bars and the fanciest neighborhoods to hit, you won’t go wrong with Sea Cliff or St. Francis Wood.
Wherever you end up, I hope you have a Spooky good time!
Happy Halloween!
